Turn Your Artwork (and Your Kids’ Masterpieces) Into Meaningful Gifts
Candice / 15 December 2025
Those drawings that come home from school at the end of the year.
The sketch you were so proud of drawing.
The little artworks that end up tucked into drawers… or worse, thrown away with a twinge of guilt.
What if they didn’t have to be?
At RapidStudio, you can print your own artwork, and your kids’ artwork, onto beautiful, usable gifts that family and friends will treasure forever. Suddenly, those once-off drawings become keepsakes that are used, displayed, and loved every day.
From Paper to Keepsake
Here are just a few ways your artwork can be transformed:
- A diary or notebook with your child’s drawing on the cover
- School artwork turned into fridge magnets instead of forgotten papers
- A favourite sketch printed on a mug
- Kids’ drawings turned into coasters for Grandpa’s coffee table
- A simple doodle transformed into a canvas for the wall
That crayon drawing isn’t just a picture anymore, it becomes a memory you live with.
Perfect for Stationery Lovers
Personalised diary covers and notebooks make incredibly thoughtful, personal gifts for moms, dads, teachers, grandparents… even yourself.
Because stationery is used daily, these gifts are looked at again and again — not tucked away in a cupboard.
Perfect for Gifting (Without the Guilt)
Instead of throwing artwork away, you can turn it into something practical, sentimental, and proudly displayed.
These gifts say: “I see you. I kept this. It mattered.”
How to Prepare Your Artwork for Printing
Getting a great print starts with a good image. The good news? You don’t need fancy equipment.
Option 1: Using a Scanner (Best Quality)
- Scan at 300 DPI for best print quality
- Scan in colour, even for pencil sketches
- Make sure the artwork lies flat on the scanner glass
- Save the file as JPEG or PNG
This option is ideal for detailed drawings or artwork you’d like printed larger, such as canvases or diary covers.
Option 2: Using Your Phone (Works Beautifully Too)
- Place the artwork on a flat surface
- Use natural light near a window and avoid harsh shadows
- Hold your phone directly above the artwork, not at an angle
- Turn off the flash
- Fill the frame with the artwork
- Use your phone’s scan feature or a scanning app if available
If needed, lightly crop the image.
